Ok, got the site back to normal. Users can now submit weblinks, articles, jobs offered, and resumes. Now I can get back to just contributing content.

Ok, now I've found out why I was getting weird hits from online poker sites on my site before the reboot. People were creating accounts and filling them with ads. Let me re-iterate my policy: This is my site, and I can do anything I want. If I think you're using an account in any way that is not complimentary to the goals of this site, I remove your account and any content you have created. I hate to sound draconian, but it's a waste of my time to go through the new user accounts everyday and delete people.

Fixed the problem with the weblinks, and the subsequent problem of node permissions affecting page views. Drupal was easier to use last time.

Ok, so basically I tried to upgrade from Drupal 4.7 to Drupal 5.2 and it didn't work well. Well, it was actually somewhat bad since I had to reboot the entire site. As of 9/30/2007, I have the general theme working, have defined most of the categories, and have the forums up and running. Having some weird issues with the weblinks. Once those are working I'll get the news, articles, and jobs offered/wanted back together. Then I'll add back all the content that got erased.
